Seth Godin has put his latest e-book about blogging online for free. Definitely worth checking out if you're wondering "Why do I need a blog".

Good information in the article Josh. I'd like to learn more about the RSS system so I can alert readers to updates in my blog. I think Seth Godin's ebook is a good starting point.

I may not be the first to say this, but I'm about to put blogs before résumés when considering who to hire. Especially creative types. I want to see your portfolio AND thought process. That's a blog.

Sure, résumés will still be needed for HR and recruiting who have to push bits and fill quotas. (grumble)
