Light Reading - Networking the Telecom Industry: "Carriers Claim IPTV Wiring Worries " .. Interesting article on the cost of putting IPTV in every room. Similar to the costs with installing satellite television, needing to provide multiple set top boxes. However, a lot of newer homes do have CAT-5 cabling running throughout, so that might be reduced. But, if you've got a highly skilled tech (and you need one, at this point) spending lots of time in the home, it starts to get tough to recoup your sunk costs anytime soon.
